Kawempe Muslim junior team lived up to expectations as they eliminated Gadhafi Integrated 1-0 in the FUFA Women Cup.

The first edition of the women knock-out football competition kicked off last weekend. 24 teams registered to take part.

Elsewhere, Fazila Ikwaputi scored a double as Olila Women ejected Eastern Heroes in the Soroti derby.

At Kibuli, Kakungulu Memorial defeated Uganda Martyrs 1-0 while Rines lost 2-1 to  She Mak St. Taju Nambozo had  brace for She Mak St.​
