Kipsiro back for National Cross Country event

Long-distance runner Moses Kipsiro will be making a comeback on the local scene.

The 2007 World Championships in Athletics bronze medalist will compete in the senior men’s category in the National Cross Country Championships in Kampala.

The event is set for this Saturday (January 14) at Kololo Independence Grounds starting 1pm local time.

Kipsiro will be competing against Prison’s Stephen Kiprotich, Police’s Joshua Cheptegei and KCCA’s Timothy Toroitich, among other elite runners.

Ronald Musagala, Halimah Nakaayi and Winnie Nanyondo will be competing in the mixed relays. Juliet Chekwel is on the senior women’s team.
