He becomes the third coach to lead Soana this season.

Coach George Lutalo (pictured) has joined Soana FC on a two-year contract. He replaces Sam Ssimbwa who left for Kenyan side Sofapaka FC after the Azam Uganda Premier League first round climaxed.

Lutalo, who was previously in charge of struggling Jinja Municipal Council (JMC) Hippos, was unveiled by Soana club chairman Smart Obedi.

He becomes the third coach to lead Soana this season after Charles Ayiekoh (resigned) and Ssimbwa.

Following his departure, Lutalo's assistant coach Vincent Lukyamuzi will now take full charge of JMC.

The former Police FC player leaves the Jinja side bottom with seven points ahead of the second round.

Out of the 15 games they played in the league's first round, JMC registered five defeats and ten draws.

In contract, Soana finished the first round fifth on the table with 23 points - six wins, five draws and four defeats.
