Premier League: Sadolin 1 Proline 1

Oct 18, 2016

The hosts take the lead before letting their opponents to level the score.

Sadolin Paints FC were held at home by Proline FC in Tuesday's Azam Premier League tie played out at Kyabazinga Stadium in Bugembe.

Ogik Norman put the hosts in front before Savio Kabugo leveled matters to ensure both sides shared the spoils.

The match watched by a large crowd was peppered with a host of chances.

Sadolin got off to a swift start and injected pace and verve in front, with attacking duo Fred Kyambadde and Ogik coming close but found the visiting defence alert.

Proline had their own share of chances, especially once after the home side had squandered an opportunity to take the lead, Edris Lubega blasted his shot into the goalkeeper's hands in a one-on-one situation.

Neither side could break the deadlock by the end of the opening half and it appeared more likely that the scoreline would remain that way as few chances were created in the second half.

It was only in the 73rd minute that Ogik found the back of the net from a pass by skipper Allan Olyek.

But home joy quickly faded away one minute later when Kabugo equalized from a set-piece.

 Sadolin broke the deadlock . . .

It was a joyless remaining 15 minutes that tickled away to the very end with no winner found.

Next up, Proline will play Soana FC while Sadolin will host Vipers.
