Yasser Mugerwa joins Ethiopia's St George

Uganda Cranes midfielder Yasser Mugerwa has joined Ethiopian giants St. George for an undisclosed fee.

Mugerwa who was recently released by South Africa giants Orlando Pirates confirmed the development via social media.

"When Allah has selected you, it doesn't matter who else has rejected you or neglected you. Gods favour outweighs all opposition ....with this new challenge and change in environment will make me a better man. #st George" read his post.

Mugerwa's exit from Orlando Pirates comes after he was transfer listed by the Soweto club earlier this year.

The former Sports Club Victoria University (SCVU) player joined Pirates from URA FC.
