KAMPALA - Defending champions KCCA FC will open their new league campaign by hosting Jinja Municipal Council (JMC) Hippos FC at Phillip Omondi Stadium, Lugogo on Friday.
It will also be particularly a special start to a new season at Lugogo after playing their games at Nakivubo Stadium last season.
And their defence of the title will have been boosted by pre-season signing of new players.
They got Douglas Kisembo from Police FC, Denis Rukundo from Maroon FC,Vincent Kayizzi from Express FC,Geofrey Sserunkuma from Lweza FC and Brian Majwega from Tanzanian side Simba.
Already, they have the Super Cup after beating Vipers SC at Wankulukuku.
The holders beat JMC home and away last season, and will look to continue their record against the Jinja-based side.
