Aaron Baguma ignored court summons in the criminal case against him
Buganda Road Chief Magistrates Court has issued an arrest warrant against Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Aaron Baguma to compel Police to produce him in court to answer charges of murder.

Chief magistrate Jameson Karemani issued the directive on Thursday morning after the former Central Police Station (CPS) boss ignored court summons in the criminal case against him.
The arrest warrant was prompted by Resident State Attorney Jonathan Muwaganya who asked court to issue the warrant against him for failure to appear before court.
Baguma faces murder charges in connection to death of city businesswoman Betty Dona Katusabe alongside jailed Pine Car Depot boss Muhammad Ssebuwufu and his six business associates.
Prosecution alleges that the accused and others still at large on October 21, 2015 at Pine Car Bond on Lumumba Avenue in Kampala, tortured Katusabe to death.
The case has been adjourned to August, 26 for mention.
