KCCA FC will host three other Azam Uganda Premier League sides in the inaugural Philip Omondi Invitational pre-season tournament this weekend.
The two day event that commences on Saturday is organized by KCCA FC in conjunction with Dreamsports Management.
"It's a good start and we want to build on it. Our target is to make it an international tournament in probably three years' time, but we are glad that we have started with the local teams. We will do what it takes for it to grow," KCCA FC CEO David Tamale told the club website.
The draws for event will be conducted this Friday at Lugogo. Each team will play two matches, with three points awarded for a win, one point for a draw, and a point for every goal scored.
Apart from winning, shots on target will be taken into account and used to decide the winners if all teams have the same points and goal difference.
A cash offer of Shs500,000 has been given to all the four teams to help them in their preparations.
