Kenyan national, Abel Queentor was again the star of the show as she fueled Pioneer's second win of the season against jaded KICC at Lugogo oval on Saturday in the UCA National Women's League.

KICC could not contain her combination of bowling and batting adeptness as she struck 30 off 44 balls after the defending champions had opted to bat first.

Queetor further made 4/17 in 9 overs and ended the game as nothing but man of the match.

Mercy Lakisa stepped in , making 29 from 29 balls as Pioneer sunk down fifth placed KICC who could only manage 196/8 in 50 overs with  Scovia Akello's and Kevin Apio's standing out with scores of 24 off 38 balls and 14 off 32 balls respectively.

Queentor has helped Pioneer get back up following a poor start to the season and she shone right away on her debut against charity claiming 5/20 in 8.1 overs on top of being man of the match two weeks ago which actually turned out to be Pioneer's first win of the season.

"ICC encourages cross border relations and am happy she's with us. She has really added a lot to the team" said Rita Tinka, the team manager.

Else where Wanderes beat Jinja SS by 5 wickets at Kyambogo oval as Olila defeated Tornado by 4 wickets at Jinja oval in the division two.
