Kinaawa residents stumble upon a dead man

When the residents scrutinised the car they noticed the body of the dead man in the bush a few meters away from the vehicle

Residents of Kinaawa have stumbled upon a body of a man in a bush, near Kinaawa road, in Nsangi Sub-County, Wakiso district.

The body was discovered on Sunday morning after the residents became suspicious of an abandoned vehicle, a Subaru Forester Reg. no. UAG 982S. 


When the residents scrutinised the car they noticed the body of the dead man in the bush a few meters away from the vehicle and immediately alerted Nsangi police.


Police identified the deceased as Jolly Kizito a worker with Jutrade General Agencies Ltd (JGAL).
The OC Nsangi Police Station, Henry Kisubi said the deceased was found with an identity card in his pockets.

"The body has been rushed to Mulago hospital for a postmortem to ascertain the cause of death. We suspect he was shot because he has a wound on the forehead," he said.

Police called for relatives of the deceased to report to police to help in the investigations. Kisubi also asked the public to help the police with any information that might help the police track the assailants.
