I'm fed up of this hypocrisy

My in-laws seemed happy for their son and through their speeches on our wedding day, I was fooled into believing that I was the best thing that had ever happened to him.

However, just two years down the road, I can testify that his relatives' sole mission is to separate us.

They usually come over unannounced with a problem; say sickness, money issues and so on.

As a young bride, I was happy to help. However I later realised that the same relatives I had helped said the meanest things about me to my husband.

They were ungrateful and would only judge me for what I failed to do to help them versus what I had done for them.

I feel like my husband is often made to choose between me and his relatives.

I'm fed up and plan to chase them away from our home.
