“We need now to have that confidence that we can actually complete a home and away win over Bright Stars FC."

Following their two wins against Express FC and Police FC recently in the premier league, high-flying JMC Hippos FC will next face Bright Stars FC.

And head coach James Odoch has assigned his players to put up another impressive performance at Kakindu stadium on Saturday.

Going into that game, JMC will have been bolstered by crucial wins over Express (2-0) at home and Police (3-2) away at Kavumba.

After those two successive victories against such tough teams, Odoch now believes that his side can beat any team in the league.

“'Now that we have the best defense in the league that has leaked just 10 goals, I am happy that the strikers have started to find the net.

“We need now to have that confidence that we can actually complete a home and away win over Bright Stars FC here at our den [Kakindu stadium],''said Odoch .

With improved results at the club, JMC have also seen their fan base grow.

Spearheaded by on-form striker Richard Wandyaka with five league goals, Odoch feels that his side has what it takes to see other strikers like Ivan Lubaale, Abdulrahman Ajaab and Walter Lubangkene gain sharpness in front of goal.

“With my full-back Mohammed Walangalire finding the back of the net twice, I feel that my players have gained a winning mentality that has made them believe that they can defeat any team at any ground.”
