The title race in the FUFA Women Elite League is still tight . In both the Rwenzori and Elizabeth Groups, there is one point separated by  the first and second teams each.

Gafford Ladies who are the only unbeaten side in the Victoria Group and top the table standings with 16 points, one above second placed Kawempe Muslim. Both Gafford and Kawempe have played six games so far.

 In the Rwenzori Group, UCU Lady Cardinals who have lost their last two consecutive games are top with 12 points. However UCU has played more games than Buikwe and She Corporates.

Kawempe are the defending champions after defeating Buikwe 3-2 in the final last year.

A total of fifteen teams are taking part in the league of which eight and seven teams are placed in the Victoria and Elizabeth Groups respectively.

The winner of the league will take home sh3m while the second and third runners will share sh2m and sh1m respectively.
