AS the world waits to usher in the New Year, 2014, all roads will on December 31st lead to Kirama village in Kaliro district where the Universal Apostles Fellowship Church of Righteousness (UAFCR) will be celebrating 50 years of an indigenous Gospel in Africa.

CELEBRATING GOLDEN JUBILEE IN UGANDA

AS the world waits to usher in the New Year, 2014, all roads will on December 31st lead to Kirama village in Kaliro district where the Universal Apostles Fellowship Church of Righteousness (UAFCR) will be celebrating 50 years of an indigenous Gospel in Africa.

The Church has existed since 1963 as an indigenous gospel founded and nurtured in Uganda by Ugandans and all along it has been serving through its theme “Do your best to win full approval in God’s sight” that was depicted from 2 Timothy; 2:15. Management at the Church will be thanking and glorifying the Almighty God through celebrations to mark the Golden Jubilee in line with what God commanded as read from his Holy Scriptures; Leviticus 25:8-14. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is expected to grace the occasion as the Guest of Honour


BACKGROUND:

Reverend Sos Peter Tubone, a director at the UAFCR, says the Church was started by Prophet Noah Kalange and
Rev. Micros Mafabi in 1963 for the purpose of spreading the Gospel of righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ. He says, since its initiation, their church has never been affi liated to any other local or foreign church neither sought fi nancial assistance from outside Uganda.
