Enid Mirembe crowned Miss Tourism Busoga

22-year-old Enid Mirembe was crowned Miss Tourism Busoga region on Saturday evening at Bax Bar and Restaurant in Jinja. Enid beat off competition from 9 other girls that made it to the finals.

The girls went through quite a tight maze that included showcasing fashion styles and explaining their particular choices. They also had to show their talents to the audience in order to impress the judges.

Most girls chose to sing and they frankly failed miserably. Some chose to recite poetry, but it was a bit amateurish.

They instead impressed at the Q&A session with most of them sounding eloquent and confident.

They were armed with knowledge about their culture. At the end of the night, 3 girls were announced winners out of the initial 9.

2nd Runners Up was Ramonah Shantal Olunda, 1st Runner Up was Kisakye Ronah and Enid Mirembe was crowned Miss Tourism Busoga, the overall winner.
