No donor pressure on Museveni to meet Mbabazi

There is no pressure mounted on President Yoweri Museveni by the donor community to meet former Prime Minister, Amama Mbabazi, Government has clarified.

“The so-called donor pressure to permit Amama Mbabazi consultations is false,” the Executive Director, Uganda Media Centre Ofwono Opondo tweeted.

Clarifying on what he termed as falsehood spread by the Mbabazi camp, Ofwono added: “Team Amama Mbabazi is spreading another lie that Attorney General, Fred Ruhindi, has been suspended. Someone must help Amama return to his senses that he cannot beat the law.”
