The New Vision’s monthly youth magazine swagg will be published this weekend on Saturday August 11 2014. This will be the second edition of the monthly magazine that evolved from a four page weekly pullout every Saturday.

Speaking about the next issue, the magazine editor, Tony Achidria said the first edition was well received on the market because it had more pages, covering more school events and youth functions, it had a fair share of entertainment while still being educative.

The monthly issue has more pages of entertainment and educative stories. It also offers more opportunities for interaction.
“This is a magazine for the youth, especially the teenagers. The teens contribute 80 percent of the content. Besides helping those who would love to pursue a career in journalism, it is also a platform for young people to express themselves in the media,” Achidria said.

Swagg was previously known to mainly cover school social events. However the new magazine has a wider scope of coverage to include, health issues, brain teasers, fashion, guest writers and so much more.

It is a complete package that every youth should look out for as it seeks to educate, entertain and build the young people.

The magazine is also online @ www.swagg.co.ug
