One of South Africa's representatives in this year's Big Brother, Barbz (real names Babalwa Mneno) was evicted from the show.  JOSEPH SSEMUTOOKE had a phone chat with the model and entrepreneur about her experiences in Biggie's house.

Q:  Hey Barbz! You should be sad about your eviction and already missing Upville.

A:   I’m feeling great and not putting up a funeral. Honestly, being out is cool for me and I don’t miss the house. I’m going back to people who actually love me and care about me.

Does that mean you were tired of the house?

Not really. I just knew I could come out anytime.

Perhaps you were not desperate for the money, since you are already quite rich.

Who says I'm rich? I'm not, but even if I were I don't know anyone who don't need more money.

So did you go in there for the money?

The money was secondary. I went in to enjoy myself and change the perception people had of me. The media had misrepresented me as an ill-mannered snobbish socialite.

Have you changed that image?

I think I have. I showed my true self — calm, warm and respectful. Previously when people saw me in the media having fun, times dancing hard, they thought I was always drunk, yet I don't even drink alcohol. Now they know all that.

What else have you gained from being in the house?

I have realised that I am a much stronger person than I thought of myself, especially when under pressure.

That echoes Prezzo, what made you beef the Kenyan?

Ha ha ha. I had nothing against Prezzo. That Humpty Dumpty is the one who, from the start, had that bad heart against me.

Were you too much for his domineering ways?

You've nailed it on the head. I think he found me very hot and would have wanted to have his way with me. But from the start I informed him that I had a boyfriend and wouldn’t have anything to do with him, and he beefed.

So you can never date him, not even ever be friends with him after Big Brother

No way. I'm in a relationship with someone and even planning to get pregnant.

So, which housemates will you maintain as friends after BBA?

Definitely Maneta, who was friendly and understanding and Zainab. I have received an email from her apologising for having nominated me.

Who do you wish to win the money?

Keagan or Lady May.
