Express love by yelling
JAPAN
Japanese have a "Love Message Yelling Event" on the eve of the "Love Your Wife Day" every January 31. This year, it took place at the Hibiya Park in central Tokyo, co-hosted by a citizen group dedicated to devoted husbands. Thirty or so participants took to the stage to yell: “I love you” to their wives in a move to boost romance and the waning interest if child-rearing. Participants said they found the event emotionally liberating. Many Japanese find direct use of love words embarrassing.

Nude posers needed in city
AUSTRALIA
An American photographer, Spencer Tunick is searching for thousands of Australians to strip off on the steps of the Sydney Opera House in the name of art. Tunick, famous for capturing many naked people against industrial or urban backdrops, wants to create a Sydney “installation”, involving up to 2,000 nude volunteers on March 1. The photo, to be called The Base, will coincide with the city’s annual gay and lesbian Mardi Gras, which attracts participants and audiences from around the world. Tunick says his work is not about eroticism, but about the vulnerability of life in a rough city landscape.

“Pork makes sex better”
ARGENTINA
President Cristina Fernandez has recommended pork as an alternative to Viagra to the nation saying she spent a satisfying weekend with her husband after eating barbecued pork. “I didn't know that eating pork improves your sex life ,” Fernandez said to leaders of the pig farming industry. Argentines are the world’s biggest consumers of beef, but the government is trying to promote pork as an alternative due to the rising beef prices and as a way to diversify the meat industry.
