INVESTIGATIONS into the cause of a plane crash in Bugiri last month are incomplete, the head of the probe team has said.

Last week, the team leader, Brigadier Chris Mudoola, said they had handed over the probe report to the minister of Works.

Last month, a Police helicopter carrying several government dignitaries including the Prime Minister Apolo Nsibambi, developed a technical problem and crashed during an emergency landing.
Nsibambi is on sick leave nursing injuries he sustained in the incident.

The other passengers included the permanent secretary in Nsibambi's office, Pius Bigirimana and aides identified as Rose Oyella, Apollo Munghinda and Peter Isabirye.

The pilots, Emmanuel Busuulwa, and Elijah Matovu, were also injured.
Mudoola said they cannot disclose anything until inquiry into the crash iscomplete.

Efforts to get a comment from the works minister John Nasasira were futile.
