THE ribbon is back and it is an accessory that any girl of any age can add to their outfit from their hair to their shirts and dresses.
One can hold her hair together by just tying it with a ribbon.

The good thing is that ribbons can be worn on braided hair, hair pieces, middle of the hair or even as puffholders. So, when you are having a bad hair day, you do not have to cover it up fully, just tie up a pretty ribbon that suitably matches your outfit.

The ribbon also doubles as belt on shirts and dresses. For example, for a short dinner dress, instead of a belt, a small matching ribbon looks elegant and yet adds beauty to the outfit. It is for this same reason that bridesmaids wear ribbons on their outfits.

So be it a shirt to work, a ribbon can be your first step to a happier office day as it can still be formal and stylish. For traditional western Ugandan dress, instead of the usual beads on the forehead, the bridal ushers can just wear ribbons. Do not throw away those ribbons, use them to make your outfits flashier.
