This is my first time to comment about a topic in a newspaper. I am a very strong supporter of the the NRM government and President Museveni in particular.

However, giving Bebe Cool a whooping sh165m for medical treatment in the USA is absurd especially when we have very poorly equipped health centres in the country.
Mulago Hospital is in a sorry state. Many people cannot even afford panadol.
Why is the President dishing out public money to someone who caused his own problem? How is that going to be accounted for?
Is that motivating our poorly paid and poorly equipped Police force? Bebe Cool is always embroiled in brawls in public. This seems to be a clear message to the public that some people are untouchable.
It seems favours are done for those who are well connected. I have no ill feelings against Bebe Cool but I question the President’s action.

Bebe Cool should be decent enough and return the public money given to him by the President, to the national coffers. It is indeed true that those who have more shall be given.
Those who don’t have, even the little will be taken away from them! What a shame! How do we explain such a situation?
