A married man who was walking stealthily into the housemaid’s bedroom at night cried out after having stepped on a rat trap.
Musana, a resident of Kawempe, had just returned from a funeral at his father-in-law’s home. His wife had stayed behind at her parent’s place. This prompted Musana to make a move on the young maid, since he lacked company.
He told the children to go to bed early and he tip-toed to the maid’s bedroom. He had to pass through the kitchen to reach the small room, which was once a store. Unfortunately, the maid had set a rat trap at the foot of her bed, because the rodents were becoming a nuisance.
It snapped onto Musana’s toe very hard and almost dislocated it. He cried aloud like a child and the children and neighbours came to his rescue. They realised he was very far from his room and was only putting on a towel.
When asked what he was doing in her room without any clothing, he replied that he actually wanted the maid to fix him something to eat, but the people went back home unconvinced. Ends
