JANE Akiiki recently walked into the court with her two and a half-year-old son to plead against a murder case where she allegedly hacked her husband to death.
The 26-year-old, who has been in custody with her toddler, sat quietly in court while her other son sat with relatives.
Akiiki is charged with the murder of Richard Ssenyengo at Nambajja village in Nakasongola district, on October 19, 2001.
The case was adjourned because the defence counsel was bereaved. Six witnesses from Nakasongola were present. Ends
