The situation is worse under the West Nile Rural Electrification Company than it was under the Uganda Electricity Board. In the past, the company made repeated apologies, sighting technical faults. But this is no longer the case, a suggestion that it is now a routine phenomenon for which they cannot keep apologising.

Let the Uganda Government critically evaluate the implications of privatising such public utility enterprises.
