The Uganda Investment Authority (UIA) recently selected Uganda’s ambassador to Egypt, Ibrahim Mukiibi, (right) as the best investment promoter for 2003.
UIA executive director Dr. Maggie Kigozi said Mukiibi has lead the highest number of inward missions from Egypt to Uganda and attracted investors with a total planned investment worth US$131.9m.
She said Mukiibi recently attracted a big investor, African Development Incorporation Uganda Limited to improve the country’s tourism sector.
