The town council has received garbage skips, a modern incinerator and a Geographical Positioning System (GPS) machine from the mayor of Goes municipality, Vanser Twist. At a farewell function held on Monday, the town council chairman, Peter Muwanga Nabugo, said the GPS will keep surveillance on buildings constructed without the town engineer’s proval.

The general secretary of Sebei Muslim committee, Sheikh Hussein Sabila, advised Muslim women to reject being inherited by their brothers-in-law and avoid squandering orphans’ resources. He issued this counsel at a one-day seminar held at Kululu Mosque in Tegeres sub-county on Sunday.
