WHILE other students spent sleepless nights, Linda Turyabahika, who scored aggregate eight, did the opposite.
“I was not a bookworm, but I was motivated to pass exams and I never ignored my teachers’ advice,” said Turyabahika.

She said passing exams did not mean ‘burning midnight candles’, but listening to teachers and following instructions.

Turyabahika said she wants to follow in her father’s footsteps and become a medical doctor.

“I want to go back to Mount St. Mary’s Namagunga and do Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Economics,” she said.

Her father, Dr. Joseph Turyabahika, said: “This is not a surprise because I did exactly the same during my school days.”
