UGANDA’s Deo Akope and Godfrey Mande got off to a dismal start in the four-day Asian Tour Q-School Finals that teed off in Malaysia yesterday. Akope, who shot 77 was in an unfamiliar 164th while Godfrey Mande (79) was further down the leader-board in 176th place.
The top 40 out of 186 competitors will qualify to compete in the lucrative Asian Tour next season. Akope shared his position with seven other competitors while Mande tied with other five golfers.
