It is holiday time and parents need to plan for their children. After the recently concluded end of year exams, we should understand that some students will pass while others will fail. It is never too late to plan though. Those who will be advised to repeat classes should do so while those who will fail exams should be patient and re-sit them.

Children on holiday should spend their time responsibly by helping their parents with domestic chores.

They should preserve their dignity by avoiding reckless living, keeping away from pre-marital sex, gambling, drinking and reckless riding or driving.

Christmas festivities are challenging. Some children like excessive leisure which may calumniate into HIV/AIDS infections, accidents and other health problems.

It is important to enjoy the holiday responsibly. Parents should also spare time to counsel their children so that they do not get into trouble.
