SHARON Webb, fondly known as Tolofaina, earned acclaim dancing alongside fiancé Via Kalikwani during last year’s PAM award trail.

Named after the breakthrough hit that earned Kalikwani a PAM award nod, Webb grabbed immediate attention, with the kisses and intimate dance for her man that threw crowds into a frenzy.

At music concerts, Kalikwani’s stage persona was never complete without her presence. She helped him build his craft.

Like it was with Paul Kafeero (RIP) who sang Omwana w’ Omuzungu with his American partner, Catherine Barret Gaines, Kalikwani and Tolofaina have recorded a track together called Amazima mu Love (Truthfulness in love).

The song is getting commendable rotation on FM stations. In Mazima mu LoveWebb sings her own verse and chorus in Lusoga. Says producer Alan Okia: “The track is a fusion of reggae and traditional music.

After a lot of work on Webb’s vocals, pronunciation and intonation, she sounds authentic in Lusoga. The song is about true love and lauds honesty as the absolute necessity in love.

Webb wrote the lyrics in English and Kalikwani translated them into his native Lusoga. No doubt Mazima mu love stands out from all Kalikwani’s other songs .The song could easily make the singing couple the toast of the town.
