WITH the release of his latest album, Muko Muko, DJ Michael’s popularity across the country seems to be soaring by the day, as those who attended his show on Saturday night at Hotel Pacific in Koboko town will testify.
The excitement began as soon as Koboko town residents caught wind of the presence of the deejay-turned dancehall singer.
Clad in a hooded jacket, a designer cap and dark glasses, an outfit that epitomised a mega star, Michael swept the visibly ecstatic fans off their seats in a wild frenzy. Some ladies were heard screaming at the top of their voices: “We love you, Michael!â€
He sampled a few tracks off his album, but it was his earlier hits, Lido Lido and Wandekera Omwana that provided invaluable enchantment.
The singer gave out free audio and video CDs of his latest album.
