INVISIBLE Children, a child-centred non-governmental organisation, is linking up 1,000 schools in the US with schools in northern Uganda to enhance secondary education.

The organisation’s head of logistics in Gulu, Christopher Kargel, recently said that they were working hard to link at least one secondary school in northern Uganda to 20 schools in the US to raise funds to develop schools in Gulu, Amuru and Pader districts.

So far, 11 schools in the US have been linked to Gulu High school and have raised US$60,000 (about sh108m) to build a modern storeyed dormitory for the school.
