CIVIL servants have been urged to be politically neutral while executing their duties.

The district chairman, Thomas Mulondo, made the appeal while welcoming the new chief administrative officer, Samuel Katehangwa, recently. He warned the civil servants not to engage in party politics saying whoever does so risks losing his job.

“You are supposed to serve the people equally irrespective of their political beliefs,” he said.

Katehangwa promised to complete the district block under construction in two years. He also pledged to work with the coun
cil to develop the district.

Katehangwa was transferred from Kabale to replace Joseph Mukasa Maira, who was in turn transferred to Kabale to replace him.
