THE Bishop of Soroti Catholic Diocese, Erasmus Desiderius Wandera, has warned politicians against interfering with development interventions of the Catholic Church in Teso, reports Simon Naulele.

He said the Catholic Church would never deviate from the principles of evangelisation.

Wandera said politicians were not exempt from the gospel of Jesus Christ because they are human beings.
He said false accusations to gain cheap popularity among some politicians led to their downfall.

“I hear some politicians think Kyoga Veritas radio is meant to overthrow them. I want to calm them. The radio was not founded for that and whoever insists is reaping his downfall,” Wandera said.
He said the radio was founded to bring salvation to the people and to educate them of their obligations.
