DEPUTY director for economic affairs at the movement secretariat Zedekiah Karokora has said the NRM-O supporters have great hopes that the cadres who deserted the movement would come back once the political space opened up.
Karokora was addressing a movement consultative meeting at Kamwenge council hall on Thursday, where he represented the National political commissioner, Dr. Crispus Kiyonga.
The meeting was organised by the resident district commissioner, John Arimpa Kigyagi, as a full district Movement conference with the intention of electing the district movement chairperson.
It was later turned into a movement consultative meeting after area MPs challenged its legality.
