MBARARA — Three people were killed and nine others seriously injured in accidents during the Easter season, the Police said on Tuesday. The district traffic chief, Patrick Ewan, said 11 accidents were recorded. He identified the dead as Douglas Munyangye of Kijungu cell, Hilda Rwogane of Rwamucucu in Kabale district and Deus Mugabe, a bodaboda cyclist.
Sh6m debt
BUSHENYI — UPC strongman Maj. Edward rurangaranga has been ordered to repay a sh6m debt. Commercial Court’s deputy Registrar John Keitirima on Thursday directed rurangaranga to pay the money to Bushenyi Savings cooperative Society. Keitirima also directed rurangaranga to pay sh2m as costs of the suit.
