ORGANISATIONS and individuals risk collapsing due to failure to form partnerships that strengthen them, an expert has warned.

“From the dawn of time, our creator affirmed the importance of partnerships to ensure viability and expansion of our species. Today, change and the ferocity of competition are constant. To succeed, individuals, organisations and nations must form partnerships,” Moses Adriko, the president of the Uganda Law Society, said.

Adriko was presenting a paper, “The art of creating value through partnering,” during a management forum.

The forum was organised by the British Council and dfcu Group. It took place at Sheraton Kampala Hotel over the weekend.

He said with partnerships, an organisation can invest in better technology and training due to pooled resources.

However, he said people should be careful before venturing into partnerships.
