The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is conducting a two-week on-the-job training for surgical staff at Gulu Hospital, writes <b>Vision Reporter.</b>

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is conducting a two-week on-the-job training for surgical staff at Gulu Hospital, writes Vision Reporter.
The training, which kicked off on Wednesday, will focus on treatment of war injuries and general surgery, the ICRC said in a statement in Kampala on Wednesday.
It said an ICRC regional surgeon based in Nairobi would perform the surgical operations. He will be assisted by military doctors and health staff and Gulu Hospital’s medical workers.
The statement said the treatment would include management of abdominal pathologies and bone surgery.
