The programme will run 30-minutes weekly for 52 weeks. Studio 53 will showcase the best of African fashion, travel, food, décor, music, movies and more, as its roving cameras roam from East to West, down South and up North, capturing the fun colours, sights and sounds of the continent.

Hosted by Alyce Chavunduka, a classy, Zimbabwean-born television personality, Studio 53 will includes an energetic network of roving reporters drawn from across Africa.

Among them are former Big Brother Africa guest presenters including Christina Moshe from Tanzania, Olumide Fasuyi from Nigeria and Fareed Khimani from Kenya.

In the days running up to the show’s debut the Studio 53 crew were already hard at work in the tropical waters of Mozambique, the bustling heart of Nigeria, the Kenyan fashion industry.
