Peter Ndaula, formerly of Bakayimbira Dramactors, sold ‘air’ at his Miss ‘Abayita Ababiri’ beauty pageant last Sunday at Travellers Inn on Entebbe road, where 10 beauties were to compete and win a 29' inch Toshiba TV, Sony CD changer and a Nokia phone. Things went wrong from the onset.

The show slated for 7:00pm, started at 11:00pm. Then Eagles Production, who were supposed to perform, were already in a production at Nakivubo Stadium.

As if he had not goofed enough, when the 10 contestants walked in, none of them was an Abayita Ababiri resident, a move, which drove residents mad. They were hand-picked from Kampala.

To make up for the gaffe, Ndaula hurriedly convinced a barmaid at Travellers Inn to change her barmaid clothes and contest, a move, which cooled down the crowd. However, his woes resurfaced when the public address system died.

They bayed for their sh4,000 refund and amidst a heavy goofing, Ndaula paid a few of the crowd before fleeing through the back door and into the dead of the night.
