By Eddie SsejjoobaDoctors and nurses in Kitovu Hospital on Tuesday reacted angrily to complaints by a Masaka couple that was rushed to hospital after an accident. They said they were under-treated and given high bills when they requested for transfer. This came after the hospital administration barred the brides, Muhammad Kibiringo (groom) Jane Ndibalekera (bride) and other relatives from leaving the hospital until they settled an outstanding balance of sh42,000.Kibiringo and Ndibalekera survived an accident on the Nyendo-Villa Maria Road in which four people died and 14 others injured. The group were returning from an introduction ceremony in Bukomansimbi and rushing to Namasuba for a reception. Ndibalekera said she had not received enough care from the hospital.
