Paidha To Build Sh50m Mosque

By Vision ReporterA MODERN mosque worth sh50m is to be built in Paidha town council to accommodate the increasing number of the muslim community, the chairman of the construction committee, Mr Ismael Juma Jaker, has said.He told The New Vision in Paidha town recently, that the old mosque, Basita Wa Salaam, located one kilometre from the town, at Mvugu, was too small to cater for the increasing number of Muslims which had reached 3000.“Since Paidha is a commercial centre, many visitors come around and most of them are Muslims. There is need to have a big mosque to serve them, Jaker said.”Ends
