Lincoln International School, January 19-21, hosted the first ever International Baccalaureate Diploma Conference to be held in Uganda.

By Vision Reporter Lincoln International School, January 19-21, hosted the first ever International Baccalaureate Diploma Conference to be held in Uganda. The conference, attended by teachers from 21 high schools from 17 European, African and Middle East countries, is to promote international understanding through a shared academic experience. It will provide students with a balanced education and facilitate geographic and cultural mobility. It was attended by Ake Sornam, IB Diploma manager, from the organisation's headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland and other programme officials from Cardiff, Wales. The three-day conference sponsored workshops in maths, economics, business and management, geography and French.The IBD is a two-year comprehensive curriculum leading to externally assessed examinations for students aged 17-19.
