OVER eight clubs and schools were registered when the 32nd edition of Makerere Open volleyball championship kicked off yesterday. The tournament, which runs upto tommorow, will have holders Kampala Amateur Volleyball club (KAVC) going all the way to defend the title they won last year. KCC will also seek to defend the ladies crown when the women's team events kick off today. Schools champs Namagunga and Bugema will also defend titles. New millenium and Makerere are the other clubs in the event. Ends
