SAMUEL Sujata, handicap 36, carded 66nett to become overall winner of the President's Shield golf tournament at Kitante course on Saturday.

By Douglas Mazune SAMUEL Sujata, handicap 36, carded 66nett to become overall winner of the President's Shield golf tournament at Kitante course on Saturday. Sujata who took home the president's Shield in honour of Uganda Ladies Golf Union (ULGU) president Monica Ntege, also came top in group B (h/c17-40). Rose Wandera, h/c 15 of Tororo Golf Club produced the most dramatic finish of the tournament when she fired an eagle on the 18th hole to beat Maria Difonzo (69nett)for the group A (0-16) top accolade by a stroke. Group B went to Grace Kabonero (h/c28). Earlier on Friday ULGU general assembly unanimously re-elected Ntege and the entire executive committee. Rhoda Tumusiime and Alice Owor are secretary and treasurer.
