By Vision Reporter CRANES will miss the services of international left winger Ibrahim Buwembo who leaves today for unknown destination in Europe. Cranes team manager Sam Kabugo confirmed yesterday that Buwembo would not be available for the challenge cup. "Buwembo has written to Cranes management of his unavailability, however the rest of the players will be in Thursday. Buwembo indicated heading for Europe," said Kabugo. At the same time, Congolese striker Toto Songe with Mbarara United has been naturalised and his papers are being processed for him to play for Cranes in the challenge cup. FUFA vice president-technical Polly Ouma said: "Songe will play for Cranes, we are processing his papers." The players, however, will have to play to impress foreign scouts and media covering the two-week championship. France Football magazine, Reuters, AFP, BBC and VOA will have correspondents. Frank Simon with bi-weekly France Football Magazine arrived in Kampala Tuesday night with leading French coach Raymond Zarpanelian. Simon, 31, is also a television presenter with African channel of Canal Horizon TV-Paris. Simon is former African Soccer magazine and BBC correspondent. "I love African soccer that is why I want to see what East Africa can offer," said Simon in an interview. Zarpanelian who was the first French coach to guide Sierra Leone to the 1994 Africa Nations Cup finals and also coached Burkina Faso's ASFB FC is here. "I'm just crazy about football. I want to understand East African soccer and analyse the potential of each national side. I'm no scout, but would advise French teams to come for potential talents." Ends.
