AAU to give in

By Douglas Mazune AUTOMOBILE Association of Uganda (AAU) has promised to relinquish power to a neutral body that is being mooted. AAU have conflicted with the newly formed Federation of Motor sport Clubs of Uganda (FMU). The chairman AAU competitions committee (AACC) John Mutenda yesterday revealed that AAU has resolved to end the wrangles in the sport by relinquishing power to a neutral body. "AAU will relinquish power to a neutral body that will run the motor sport, it is the duty of AAU to delegate powers and FIA (world governing body) will allow us do that without pulling strings," Mutenda told an AACC monthly meeting at Hotel Equatoria.
