GODFREY Walusimbi could complete his career dream move to Swedish club BK Hacken before Friday.

The Cranes left-back travelled to Sweden last Wednesday for a two-week trial stint with the Premier league club and has since earned plenty of praise from the club’s coaching staff.

Walusimbi, who struck Uganda Cranes first goal in the 2-0 victory Guinea Bissau in a Nations Cup qualifier recently, has during his three days of training at Hacken, thrilled and threatened with the ball at his feet from a defensive position.

He has made life a real misery for whoever attacking player that has come at him.

“He is really doing well. He will be involved in two games later this week, where the club’s technical staff will judge his qualities in a competitive environment before the signing process,” player scout Tony Awor, who recommended Walusimbi to Hacken, stated yesterday.

Hacken are determined to strengthen their squad ahead of their Europa campaign that starts in August. Walusimbi could become the third Ugandan to play in Sweden after Mike Sserumagga and Abubaker Tabula.
