How did Movement survive UPC’s ‘Red Wave’ in Lango?

“Overall, NRM still has majority seats. UPC has about 12 seats; there is one independent seat, but the remaining 17 seats are all taken up by NRM,” Acuti cited.

“NRM has actually improved, if you look in terms of vote performance. For example, in my district in the last election, the President got 72 per cent. In this election, he got 86 per cent,” Acuti said.
